Major Nathan Kline

Vice President

Major Kline has 42 years of active and ready reserve time.

He enlisted in the USAAF on 6 Nov 42. From Mar 44 to Apr 45 he flew 65 bombing missions as a bombardier/navigator in B-26 Marauders assigned to the 454th Bomb Squadron, 323 Bomb Group, 9th Air Force based in England and Europe. All missions were flown in the European Theater of Operations (ETO).

Awards include: The Distinguished Flying Cross

The Air Medal with one Silver Oak Leaf cluster and 4 Bronze Oak Leaf clusters which equates to ten (10) Air Medals

French Legion of Honor by the French Government in Paris, France on June 5, 2009.

Hall of Valor award recipient in the Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hall & Museum Trust in Pittsburgh, PA.

Nominated for the Presidential Citizens Medal by Pennsylvania Senator Bob Casey.

In March of 2013, a tribute to Major Kline was read into the Congressional Record by Pennsylvania Senator Bob Casey.

On September 6, 2014, Major Kline was inducted as an Honorary Member of the 213th Regiment, the First Defenders.

On February 1, 2015, Major Kline was notified that he won The Chapel of Four Chaplains Legion of Honor Award and his name will be added to their Honor Roll.

His last Ready AA Reserve assignment was Dec 71 as Assistant Branch Chief, Defense Industrial Supply, and Directorate Procurement & Protection in Philadelphia, PA.

He completed “National Security Management” course with the Industrial College of the Armed Forces on Oct 73.
Major Kline retired August 19, 1984.
Presently, Major Kline is liaison to the military for the city of Allentown. President Emeritus of Lehigh Valley Military Affairs Council (a founding member).
Board member of MOOA (Military Officers of America).
Executive Board member of the Honorary First Defenders.
Board member Lehigh County Historical Society.
Associate Board Member and Associate Executive Board Member of the Lehigh Valley Hospital Systems.

Major Kline is the consummate business advisor, being on the board of the Allentown Economic Development Corp. and the city of Allentown Real Estate Development Corp.

His experience and expertise span many decades. He is known and respected by professional and philanthropic organizations worldwide.
Major Kline is an Allentown native, attended Muhlenberg College, and is a 32° Mason.
